  • The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web‐based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year‐long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. About Me

My name is Robert Dawson. I am currently attending the Pennsylvania State University, and I am pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural design. My past work experience has been focused in management roles. I worked as an intern for Westmoreland Electric Services as a project manager and I worked for Delgrosso's Amusement Park as a department manager. My most recent work experience is with the General Contractor, Leonard S. Fiore. At this company, I have worked in the field performing various types of work including general carpentry. In the office, I have been handling LEED documentation, project cloeseouts, and RFI's. I will have obtained my E.I.T status upon graduation in May 2019. In the future, I would like to work as a project manger in residential development and use the skills that I have learned.
